I bought this for my grandsons "ocean themed" room. He transitioned from his crib to this bed without a hitch when he was about 18 months old. His crib mattress fit perfectly in this bed. I would recommend this bed.

Just got this for my 2 year old son. Was a bit of a struggle to put together (I am 5 months pregnant) by myself because three of the holes for the side pieces weren't quite right. But my husband was able to get it in no time. It is adorable- my son loves it, although we are waiting for the weekend for him to actually sleep in it. Can't wait to design his room around the boat bed!

I bougth this toddler cot last year. Delivery was fast. Instructions and materials were easy to follow and screws and bolts were properly labeled. Ease of assembly was easy(if you can read you can assemble this bed). My son loves the hidden drawer in front and had no problem transitioning to this cot. After a year, the cot had held well.

We are expecting our third child and needed to move our 3 year old out of the crib (that was already converted to a toddler bed.) We let him have the final pick of which bed we wanted by showing him pictures in hopes of making the transition easier - it was between this boat and two plastic "character" beds. We are so happy he chose the boat, the quality is great compared to paying $100+ for a giant piece of plastic. It is true to it's description and easy to put together. My son has been sleeping soundly in his new boat bed for about a month and we are all very happy with it. Great Buy!

My son instantly loved this bed and its so adorable. i get many compliments and its actually very sturdy. I can lay on it without fear with my son if i want to read him a book.

Ahoy! Our 2-year old girl was ready for a toddler bed, and we were thrilled to find this bed on Amazon. The boat cot is wonderful. The wood is very solid, and assembly took a little over an hour. The rails are very secure, and the toy box on the front is a great touch. (Our kiddo stores her blankets in there.) This was a sweet alternative to a race car or character-themed bed. All of the photos show it styled for a boy, but it works just great for a seafaring little girl. We covered the walls with submarine and fish decals, and she sails off to dreamland.

Such a great boat bed. It matches is nautical themed bedroom. It's a bit smaller than I had expected it to be, but it fits his crib mattress and he adjusted so well from his crib into this toddler bed. So cute...
